Do I have to volunteer for the whole day or can I just come during my child’s running time?
We could use help throughout the day but if you can only stay for a little while then we are more than happy to take whatever amount of time you can give.
Do we need volunteers?

NO! Family, friends and neighbors are the people to ask.

Where is the money going?
The pledges raised by each student will stay with our school. We will use the money raised on events like Gingerbread Night, Teacher Appreciation Week, 5th Grade Camp, Movie Night, Walking Club and many more.
The Fall Fundraiser is our biggest fundraising event in the year and this year we are hoping to meet our goal and be able to eliminate catalog or magazine sales once again.
How are laps counted?
A volunteer punches your student's lap card each time they go around the track.
How much do I collect?
Sponsors can pledge a certain amount per lap or a one-time flat donation. Just remember that the more you collect, the more raffle tickets you receive and the more prizes you could win. We accept cash, check (payable to CCE PTA) and even credit cards. Information about our online Pledge Sponsorship can be found below.
How does my child receive online pledge donations?
For Cougar Creek Elementary families, we are set up for online donations by credit card. To help your student get closer to their Pledge Goal try adding a link to the PTA Online Store on a Facebook post or email shout out. We have added a Fun Run Pledge Item click on the link below to view it.
Your family, friends and coworkers can visit our online web store and pledge as little or as much as they want in one simple step. And you don’t have to worry about collecting any cash or checks because they pay with their credit card. The biggest thing to remember though is that they MUST put your students name in the NOTE TO SELLER section at checkout. Otherwise we won’t know who the money was intended for and your student will not get credit for it.
